John Oldham, M.D., Receives Award for Distinguished Achievement

John Oldham, M.D., was awarded the second annual ?Award for Distinguished Achievement In the Field of Severe Personality Disorders? by The Borderline Personality Disorder Resource Center at NY Presbyterian Hospital ?Westchester Division.

Dr. Otto Kernberg, Clinical Director of the BPD Resource Center, presented the award to Dr. Oldham at a dinner during the APA Meeting in San Diego on May 21, 2007.

John Oldham, M.D., is one of the world's leading experts in the field of personality disorders. He is Chief of Staff at the Menninger Clinic, one of the foremost psychiatric centers internationally for more than 80 years. Dr. Oldham also serves as Executive Vice Chair in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine and is the author of books and papers about personality disorders.

Under the innovative direction of Dr. Oldham, The Menninger Clinic has recently become the first international psychiatric clinic to incorporate the BPD Resource Center's documentary-style video, ?Back From The Edge? into it's curriculum.
